Papermaker Gridiron Association Scholarship

The purpose of the Papermaker Gridiron Assocation is to support, benefit, promote, organize, manage, and develop football related programs for the Kimberly School District.

To be considered for the Papermaker Gridiron Association Scholarship, the applicant must satisfy the folloiwng criteria:

1)  Participated in the PGA's Bulldog Football Program during their 6th, 7th, or 8th grade years.

2) Participated on the Kimberly High School varsity football team their senior year.

3) Complete, undiminished, the Papermaker Gridiron Association Scholarship application.

4) Obtain three nominations using the PGA Scholorship nomination form.  There must be a minimum of at least one educational and one non-educational nomination.

5) Explain, on a separate piece of paper, in one-hundred words or less, the reason for choosing your field of study and how you feel our scholarship would benefit you.

Upon completion of the criteria, the applicant must return the application, all three nominations and their essay, in a sealed business size envelope to the school office by April 1. Please label the envelope with your name and Papermaker Gridiron Assocation Scholarship.  Absolutely no late entries accepted.

The applicant with the most appealing criteria shall be awarded a five hundred dollar scholarship by the Papermaker Gridiron Association board of directors. The check will be sent directly to the recipient after proof of enrollment into the second semester. If the winner of the Papermaker Gridiron Association scholarship is unable to continue their education into the second semester, the scholarship will then be awarded to the alternate previously chosen upon the entry of their third semester.
